Context
Cap Malagasy is a malagasy farmer organization specializing in community-based agricultural extension and a member of the Fifata group. This extension program was launched by Fert in 2004 in three regions of south-central Madagascar, in response to the observation that agricultural practices could only be improved through ongoing, community-based support provided by technicians trained in the extension approach (active listening, step-by-step guidance, etc). Cap Malagasy was formally established in 2016, and the program has gradually expanded to five and then nine regions.

- Structure services to improve the living conditions of Fifata member farmers
- Support the organization of farmers within agricultural value chains
