Agri-agency Fert and the Fédération Nationale des Producteurs de Plants de Pomme de Terre (FN3PT) co-organized a study trip to France from June 26 to July 12, 2019 for their Malagasy partners in the Fifata Group, including the Ceffel association.
Through visits to the four corners of France (Arras, Breautéville, Grumière, Laurière, Beauce…), the Malagasy delegation, 3 producers, elected by Fifata Group organizations and 2 technicians from the Ceffel association, were able to appreciate the technical and organizational advances set up by the FN3PT: laboratories for producers, inspections and production controls, marketing models…
These meetings, organised with the actors of the seed potato sector, members of FN3PT, feed the “seed potato production” strategy developed within the Fifata Group.
This trip, conceived as an exchange between peers, strengthens the partnership between FN3PT and the Fifata Group, with Fert acting as facilitator. Other projects are under consideration!
