On June 29, 2017 Ceffel organized the annual open house in its fruit and vegetable experimentation and training center near Antsirabe in Madagascar. At the producers’ request, the day was marked by the fruit and their transformation, with a focus on the strawberry.

More than 600 visitors – producers, collectors, processors – participated in this day to discover the innovations carried out by Ceffel in the field of strawberry cultivation: organic fertilization tests, comparison of different types of mulch, ground strawberries with material supports Local production of various composts, demonstration of production of strawberry plants such as tray plant, etc.

The afternoon round table, but above all all the day-to-day exchanges between producers, collectors and processors, satisfied all the stakeholders and, for some, commercial relations were established on this occasion.

In the opinion of visitors, Ceffel was able to demonstrate on this day that it offered an excellent technical dissemination tool, meeting the needs of producers and other players in the sector.
