{"id":8926,"date":"2013-05-07T16:46:19","date_gmt":"2013-05-07T15:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/?p=8926"},"modified":"2020-04-07T12:15:49","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T12:15:49","slug":"cap-malagasy-un-nouvel-acteur-dans-le-champ-du-conseil-agricole-madagascar-en","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fert.fr\/en\/cap-malagasy-un-nouvel-acteur-dans-le-champ-du-conseil-agricole-madagascar-en\/","title":{"rendered":"CAP malagasy : a new player in the field of agricultural advice (Madagascar)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Since 2004, the association Fert has developed actions of agricultural advice especially through projects &#8220;South&#8221; (2004-2008) and Aropa (2009-2011) mainly in four regions of the south of the island of Madagascar: Amoron&#8217;i Mania Anosy High Matsiatra and Ihorombe.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/logo-CAP-malagasy1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5296\" title=\"logo CAP malagasy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/logo-CAP-malagasy1.jpg\" alt=\"logo CAP malagasy\" width=\"270\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a>In 2011, executives and technicians of Fert working in this specific field of agricultural advice, decided to gradually establish a professional structure of agricultural advice. &#8220;<em>CAP Malagasy<\/em>&#8221; &#8211; agricultural and local advice &#8211; was born in early 2012; still related to Fert, it will continue actions of local advice to farmers of central and southern regions of Madagascar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Every day, CAP Malagasy counselors <strong>accompany<\/strong>\u00a0producers in decision-making and provide know-how and skills to enable them to improve their products, to better promote their products and to organize together to solve common problems by implementation of appropriate services.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CAP Malagasy now operates in 21 rural communes of Amoron&#8217;i Mania, Ihorombe and Haute Matsiatra regions.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSC056771.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-5298\" title=\"CAP conseil agricole terrain\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSC056771-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"Fert CAP conseil agricole terrain\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSC056771-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSC056771-292x390.jpg 292w, https:\/\/www.fert.fr\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSC056771.jpg 425w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Each region has a relatively autonomous regional antenna consisting of a technical team and another one for\u00a0administrative\u00a0and financial management.<\/p>\n<p>At the inter-regional level, a transverse support team is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and evaluation or information-communication.<\/p>\n<p>Counselors provide actions techno-economic advice, socio-organizational support &#8211; in particular the emergence of initiatives structured around professional courses -, monitoring and evaluation, funding and information about the actions carried out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Since December 2012, and with the support of the European Union, the association Fert implements a project called Pronut, improving production and nutrition of vulnerable populations.
