A day to day challenge that all inhabitants need to tackle, in close collaboration with the stakeholders of the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-av_one_full-352b07ef7d3bc99b2e9f92e7a9e06bdb\">\n.flex_column.av-av_one_full-352b07ef7d3bc99b2e9f92e7a9e06bdb{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-av_one_full-352b07ef7d3bc99b2e9f92e7a9e06bdb av_one_full  avia-builder-el-4  el_after_av_one_half  avia-builder-el-last  first flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding  column-top-margin'     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-av_textblock-35972167d9f102c5ddaec0c531c98b9e '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>On the markets, local products are rarely competing in terms of price or quality, incomes are low and agriculture is not interesting for young people from the area. Many of them emigrated and many plots are not maintained.<\/p>\n<p>Agriculture may be threatened and become a residual activity that may, some day, only involve a few older people and the oasis may only be a postcard land.<\/p>\n<p>Considering this, the Union of Agricultural Water Users\u2019 Associations decided to be involved in the renewal of the oasis.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, men and women consider that Toudgha oasis possesses many assets and would allow a sufficient water access if better managed and promoted, through the production and commercialization of date, olive oil, early fruits and vegetables \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Beyond agriculture, the oasis also represents a culture, values, traditions, which means social, environmental and patrimonial dimensions that are getting more and more important in areas hustled, more here than in other place, by globalization.<\/p>\n<p>This situation is typical and similar to many other rural areas. After several missions, Fert, in collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soletcivilisation.fr\">Sol &amp; Civilisation<\/a>, agreed to support those farmers and their initiatives.<\/p>\n<h6>This means defining or consolidating an accompanying support favoring farmers\u2019 individual or collective projects.
