The use of the website www.fert.fr implies full and complete acceptance of the general conditions of use described below. These conditions may be modified or supplemented at any time; users of the website are therefore invited to consult them on a regular basis.

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND LIMITATIONS

Fert makes its website available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Users acknowledge and agree that the Internet has limitations and risks, and that the time to respond to access and consult the website depend on the nature and congestion of the network as well as on your own equipment. Fert may, at any time, modify or interrupt, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the website in order to carry out maintenance operations and/or make improvements and/or modifications to the website.

Fert makes necessary effort to keep the website www.fert.fr up to date, however it cannot guarantee, at all times, the completeness and accuracy of the information disseminated there, nor can it be held responsible for the consequences of its use by Internet users.

The website www.fert.fr is owned and operated by Fert. All the elements composing it, including trademarks, logos, domain names and other distinctive signs appearing on www.fert.fr are protected by the laws and conventions in force on intellectual property and belong to Fert or are subject to an authorization of use.

Fert reserves the right to prosecute any act of infringement of its intellectual property rights.

  1. IMAGE RIGHT

The image right is an exclusive right that you have on your image and the use that is made of it. Certain images do not require the authorization of the persons concerned, if they do not offend the dignity of the person represented. Examples:

  • Images of current events that may be published without the participants’ permission in the name of the right to information or artistic creation.
  • Images of public figures in the exercise of their office (elected representatives, for example) on condition that they are used for information purposes.

If your image has been published on www.fert.fr without your authorization, you can contact fert[at]fert.fr. If there is no response within 1 month, or in case of unsatisfactory response, you can contact the CNIL for free to contest the diffusion of your image.

  1. HYPERLINKS

Fert authorizes any website to establish a link pointing to the address www.fert.fr. Fert reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without having to justify its decision, to prohibit these links. In this case, Fert will inform the person or organization concerned who will have 2 working days to terminate the link.

Fert also offers many links to other websites, mainly to the official websites of its partners and networks of which it is a member. Fert systematically indicates to which website it proposes to continue browsing. However, these web pages, whose addresses are regularly checked, are not part of the website. They do not engage the responsibility of Fert, in particular with regard to the contents of these pages.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

When using www.fert.fr website; the following data may be collected: the URL of the links through which the user accessed the www.fert.fr site, the user’s access provider, the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is saved in the Fert database. It will be deleted upon request to fert[at]fert.fr. The information will be removed from the active databases but may remain in Fert archives.

Fert only communicates the email addresses it collects to its internal services (communication and management unit) and to certain service providers.

Fert outsources some of its processing operations and may transfer data outside the European Union. In these situations, Fert undertakes to conclude contractual clauses with the subcontractors that guarantee an adequate level of protection.

Fert regularly sends out newsletters and emails to keep you informed of the latest news. You will receive these emails if you have subscribed to the newsletter. This subscription can be unsubscribed at any time by sending the unsubscribe request to fert[at]fert.fr or by clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the email.
