The adaptation of agricultural practices to meet both productive and environmental objectives has mobilized farmers in the Maghreb for nearly 30 years. Mobilizing research institutes, producers’ organizations and practitioners over all these years, the action of Fert and its partners has made it possible to highlight technical and organizational achievements. It underlines how much the answers to global problems can only find a viable and adapted solution through the search for solutions for and with local actors, and in the first place farmers.
The capitalization of Fert’s action over these 30 years of action provides a synthetic perspective. It insists above all on the experience that can be shared by actors in the field, in the Maghreb and around the Mediterranean.
