A TEAM SPECIALISED IN ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT ACTIONS
At FERT's headquarters in Paris, a permanent team is in charge of orientating, coordinating and monitoring the whole range of actions and programmes that the association has involved with for over 25 years. This team is also in charge of bringing continuous support for expatriate personnel working on projects abroad.
The specificities of the mission and of the association's objectives have encouraged the development of internal skills specialised in:
analysis of agricultural, technical and economical problems, in their local, national or international dimensions.
project engineering: conception, elaboration, management, follow-up and evaluation of action programmes.conception and implementation of an innovative process of aid for development based on producers and subsidiary organisation:
- - support for the elaboration of specific professional or regulation mechanisms in view of reinforcing producer organisations and lines of agricultural produce, as well of making them durable.
- - conception and implementation of training actions intended for producers, their representatives, technicians and executives of public utilities (internships, learning trips, seminars, etc.)
- - mobilisation and monitoring of French specialised professional skills, with a permanent concern to associate local expertise with and to meet the real expectations of producers.
the creation of the conditions for collaboration or durable economical partnership between French and foreign professional organisations.
FERT makes use of the experience and know-how of the French and European agricultural world and, given it pertains to this milieu, is in a position to mobilise its most relevant skills in support of field-level realisations and as basis for training and experience exchange among local partners, farmers and technicians.
Thus, the implemented actions mobilise professionals and executives of agricultural professional organisations that are in partnership with FERT and provide opportunities for contact, information and to open up to new economical and human situations.
